Daniel Li and his daughter Collette are without options, money, or a home. In a desperate bid to secure his daughter's future, Daniel unwittingly accepts a chilling role - becoming Death itself. A curious and precocious Collette grows suspicious of her father's condition and whereabouts right when Macey, a Child Protection Services Officer, takes a keen interest in Collette's situation.
