Description

When a mysterious leak ruins her couch -- an old floral-print sofa gifted by her mother -- Phoebe, a profoundly indecisive young woman, sets out on a quest to find a new one. Initially excited by the myriad options available online, she quickly becomes overwhelmed by existential anxiety. Which couch is the perfect choice for her? How can she answer this question if she doesn’t even know who “her” is? Will selecting a couch define her identity and determine her future? If a self lacks a sense of self, can it truly be considered a self? Does she even exist?!
