The story takes place in 2010s Hong Kong. Jane is a regular in Orchid Square, a lively bar and club district. On the night of the Hungry Ghost Festival, she has been cautioned not to stay out late because the gates of the afterlife are open and ghosts roam the streets. Regardless, she is having a night out drinking with friends, when suddenly, she sees her younger sister Alex in the crowd. Jane follows her to Pottinger street, which she has been avoiding since a tragic accident in her childhood. Jane must face her trauma and confront her guilt to help Alex move on to the next life.
