In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein, “Matti Like” reimagines the classic characters in a contemporary, social-media-driven world. Dr. Frankenstein and his loyal assistant Igor don’t create a monster—they create a new kind of creature: an aspiring influencer. Her eccentric behavior and viral dance challenges fuel the experiment, blending slapstick comedy with sharp commentary on our obsession with online validation. “Matti Like” was conceived and composed by Italian singer-songwriter Francesco Malagutti for his musical project “Francesco e i Passabanda” and directed by Federico (Fred) Cavallini. The music video was produced with the patronage/support of the Municipality of Bagnara di Romagna (Italy).
