Description

In My Brother’s Corner is a short documentary that intimately follows Teddy, a Muay Thai trainer in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as he prepares his younger brother Didi for the most important fight of his life. After losing their mother at a young age, the brothers fled their remote mountain village in search of opportunity, discipline, and belonging through Muay Thai. Their journey led them to Lanna Muay Thai gym, a place that became both a home and a lifeline. At Lanna, Teddy has grown into a respected trainer, working with some of the region’s top fighters while relying on the gym’s support to survive. Now, he turns his focus inward, pouring his experience, pressure, and responsibility into training Didi for his debut fight in Bangkok, which could alter the future of both brothers. Through quiet rituals, relentless training, and moments of vulnerability, the film explores sacrifice, resilience, and the powerful, unspoken bond of family forged through struggle.
