Description

I THINK ABOUT KILLING YOU is a female sports thriller in the vein of WHIPLASH. The film follows Dani, a competitive female athlete who is the captain of her collegiate rowing team. Dani is plagued with fantasies of killing her coach. When her coach pushes her team to the brink of their mental and physical ability, Dani realizes that she has a choice to make - kill or be killed. I THINK ABOUT KILLING YOU is about the complicated and precarious relationship between a young woman’s body and her sport. It’s about the treatment you learn to accept in the pursuit of being great. This is a film that questions how much we’re willing to take from brutal and self-serving leaders who are meant to have our best interests in mind. Here, we challenge if the ends justify the means, and ask ourselves what the ends really even are.
