Description

On Christmas Day, an influencer meticulously stages the perfect holiday unboxing video. As she films herself, the gap between what she’s projecting and what she’s actually feeling begins to widen. The film finds humor in technical hiccups, forced cheer, and the exhausting pressure to stay “on,” exposing the emotional cost of constant visibility and the quiet hunger for validation that comes with it. At its core, Christmas IRL asks a timely, universal question: in a world where connection is increasingly curated, where do we actually find fulfillment — online, or in real life?
