Body Work is both a home movie and a music video for the song “Body Work” by NYC artist FRIPP.
The song explores themes of standing courageously on one’s own path, restlessness in body and mind, and the rejuvenation that can come from radical transformation. The visuals are a poetic, fly on the wall observation of one queer couple’s moments of life, love, and the pursuit of happiness as the two transition genders in the opposite direction. Paired together they create intimate insight into the mundane and the profound as they co-exist on a daily basis in queer lives.
