Description

ABOVE THE DELUGE is a hand-drawn (digital) animation simulating the phenomena of sound synesthesia made as a multimedia collaboration with the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra (SJO). The art to capture the floating, fluid shapes resembling the visual sounds in the music was inspired by investigating and capturing the movement of deep sea divers and sea creatures.
