Megan, a twenty-something living in Los Angeles, dreams of leaving her apartment and buying her first home. Her mother had promised to cover the cost, but plans change when Megan’s stepdad, Tom, becomes entangled in legal trouble, diverting the funds to his lawsuit. Frustrated and desperate, Megan decides she must split up her mom and Tom to free up the money.
Teaming up with her boyfriend, Liam, Megan devises a plan to catch Tom cheating. When their attempts fail, they take a darker turn, using artificial intelligence to create a deepfake sex tape implicating Tom. As the scheme grows increasingly elaborate, Megan finds herself in a messy web of deception, forcing her to confront the moral implications of her actions.
