A modern noir starring Lou Diamond Phillips, Rene Moran, and Alina Robert. As passions surge and secrets unravel, a lethal triangle emerges between a wheelchair-dependent ex-surfer and a migrant couple. In this labyrinth of power and intimacy, survival hinges on alliances betrayed and desires laid bare.
A Dominican couple washes ashore on a secluded Puerto Rican estate owned by Benicio Libre (Lou Diamond Phillips), a former big-wave surfer confined to a wheelchair. Initially prepared to alert Border Patrol, Benicio becomes captivated by Talisa (Alina Robert), the enigmatic woman of the pair, inadvertently fueling the ambitions of Raúl (Rene Moran), her manipulative pseudo-brother. Though Benicio sees through Raúl’s schemes, he plays the part of an unwitting fool, quietly orchestrating a more dangerous game.
As sparks fly between Benicio and Talisa, she reveals facets of herself Raúl has never cared to explore, intensifying the tension between the trio. What begins as a tempestuous dance of attraction and manipulation evolves into a high-stakes battle of wills. As secrets unravel and the lines between victim and perpetrator blur, Benicio, Talisa, and Raúl find themselves entangled in a perilous web of seduction, betrayal, and danger, where nothing is as it seems.
