Friends since middle school, Rose and Abe — now in their late 30s and living in different time zones — are both in Las Vegas for friends’ bachelor(ette) parties on the same weekend. Now, they’ve arranged to spend an evening together catching up. But they’re not kids anymore, and both of them show up to the hotel room with unseen baggage. Their sprawling conversation, by turns hilarious and dark, is an investigation of friendships, family, aging, the challenges of both marriage and singlehood, and the lies we tell ourselves to get through it all.
Filmed covertly (and safely) over five nights in a Las Vegas hotel room during the global pandemic, THE MIRROR GAME is the story of a friendship pushed to its limits.
